Obama & Biden sittin' pretty

Obama's choice in Joe Biden is very telling. It shows how confident Obama is in winning. Obama doesn't feel he has any geographical weakness's or else he would have picked someone who could deliver a special state or region(since Biden is the Senator from Delaware). He obviously picked Biden for the same reason Bush picked Cheney, he needed more Washington experience. In fact it was a safe move. If Obama wanted to be a true agent of change, he would of picked someone like Bill Richardson or Kathleen Sebelius. Of course by picking those too he probably wouldn't have gotten much acomplished, but it would have been inspiring. And it would have helped with what I think is his biggest weakness, the west. Neither Kerry nor Gore could carry the smaller states in the west becasue they were perceived as East Coast City folk who have no understanding of the logistics of having to drive 5 hours to the other big city and the west likes their guns.

I was talking to a good friend and he said if you are not happy with any of the candidates you need to find one absolute topic that you can stick too. Most out west have stuck to guns. Now I care about budget over anything, I don't what policy they should down our throat if they can pay for it. I would like McCain to pick a Governor or a Mayor who didn't deficit spend, of course those type of politicians are hard to find.
